Sue Rose lives and works in Kent as a literary translator. She has published various novels, youth fiction, libretti and plays in translation and her poetry has appeared in a wide range of magazines and anthologies. Her debut poetry collection, From the Dark Room, was published by Cinnamon Press in 2011 and her second collection, The Cost of Keys, was published by Cinnamon Press in November 2014. Heart Archives, a chapbook of sonnets illustrated by her own photos, also came out in 2014 with Hercules Editions. She won the Troubadour Poetry Prize in 2009 and the Canterbury Festival Poet of the Year Competition in 2008, and has been commended or placed in competitions such as the National Poetry Competition, the Peterloo and the Wigtown.
