Josephine Corcoran's pamphlet The Misplaced House was published by tall-lighthouse in 2014. She has written a radio play The Songs that Houses Sing (broadcast on BBC R4, 2000) and a stage play Jocasta (performed at The Chelsea Centre Theatre, London, 1997). Her short story Algebra
won first prize in the Ian St James Awards in 1996 and was broadcast on
BBC R4. After her MA in Creative at UEA (1997), Josephine taught
writing at Chichester University. In recent years, Josephine has taught
writing and led workshops in community settings, adult education
centres, and schools. In 2013 - 2015 she worked for The Reader
Organisation, setting up weekly read aloud groups in Wiltshire (where
she lives) for people with dementia. She was chosen for the Aldeburgh
Eight Advanced Seminar in 2015 and is person in charge at the poetry
site And Other Poems.
