Cliff Yates has published nine books and chapbooks of poetry. including Henry’s Clock, winner of the Fenton Aldeburgh First Collection Prize and the Poetry Business Book & Pamphlet Competition and Frank Freeman’s Dancing School (Arts Council England Writers Award). A New & Selected Poems is forthcoming from Smith/Doorstop. His recent chapbooks are Birmingham Canal Navigation (Knives Forks & Spoons) and Another Last Word (Red Ceilings). He wrote Jumpstart Poetry in the Secondary School during his time as Poetry Society poet-in-residence. He has led courses and workshops throughout the UK and abroad and is a former Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Aston University.
