Katy Evans-Bush has two full collections, Me and the Dead and Egg Printing Explained (Salt) and a pamphlet Oscar & Henry (Rack Press). Her literary blog, Baroque in Hackney http://baroqueinhackney.com, was shortlisted for the 2012 George Orwell Prize for political writing, and she will be blogger-in-residence at this year's Aldeburgh Poetry Festival in November. She teaches at the Poetry School in London and independently, and is a freelance writer. Katy has three children at university, and two guinea pigs called Frank O'Hara and Chet Baker.

    Set well known poems to music and perform them - creating songs that draw on three thousand years of poetry from Sappho to now: Shakespeare, Blake, Larkin, Eliot, Carol-Ann Duffy, Anon and many more all get the treatment – "music that moves the feet for words that move the soul" -
    They are performing regularly at literary events and Festivals in 2012 – in London, Cheltenham, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, and other places. Their new CD, ‘MADAM LIFE’ will be reviewed and on sale from October, 2012.
